Coach Stu Gear

Coach Steve Studer passed away on February 9. Each year on this date I like to look over his old training manuals, letters he wrote to me, and old photos. I like to remind myself what he stood for, how he lived, and the standard he demanded from the young people he trained.

In his training log for 1990 he listed a set of expectations for himself.
He wrote the following...

"Do what has to be done; when it has to be done; as well as it can be done; and, do it that way all of the time!"

The Coach Stu tee honors the memory of Stu and helps to build upon the legacy that he left behind by raising money for the Steve Studer Memorial Strength and Conditioning Center.
